    Anique Hamelink is docent Oude Geschiedenis en Archeologie, gespecialiseerd in de Romeinse tijd. Ze is expert op het gebied van identiteit, funeraire cultuur, monumentaliteit, imperialisme, sociale geschiedenis, epigrafie, publieksgeschiedenis, gendergeschiedenis, kledingcultuur en textielarcheologie. Ze geeft regelmatig publiekslezing in binnen en buitenland, wordt geïnterviewd als expert voor documentaires en tentoonstellingen, en werkt intensief samen met musea, kunstenaars en Levende Geschiedenisverenigingen. Ze is lid van het bestuur van Levende Geschiedenisvereniging Legio II Augusta en voorzitter van de werkgroep civiel. 
    In 2026 heeft ze de tentoonstelling "Kapsalon RMO" ontworpen als conservator in het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden.
